| Lately, I've had urges to update my xanga site, and I have been collecting some pictures from our life this week. Here's a couple things we have been up to....
Tuesday night small group!
In celebration of our country kicking out the British, our small group had a BBQ in the park (complete with a game of bocci ball). Jason, the food conisseur, brought some amazing pulled pork sandwiches. If you would like to have a taste of Jason's good food you should come with us to the Dunes tomorrow. He is cooking lunch for us. We all are meeting at WLGBC at 8:30 AM.

Thomas gets a haircut!
Thomas got more than he bargained for when he came over to our house Thursday for a haircut. With a little encouragement from Lisa, Aimee, and me (or maybe it could be called manipulation... jk, thomas) he decided to change things up a little bit. Check out the new do!

| Hey folks,
I am in Dallas, submitting this post from the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics computer lab. My good friend Trevor Deck and his good wife Sam are hosting me for a couple days. I was fortunate to have a business trip to Dallas on Thursday and Friday and to be able to stay the weekend.
A highlight from today- Ultimate Frisbee! There is a group of people that play a pick up game every Saturday morning and I joined them. It's one of the few sports I love playing.
Another highlight from today- Waffle House! Mmmm.... Waffle House, why can't you be in Warsaw?! The booth Trevor and I sat in had a perfect view of the cook and all his on-going's. It made me think, "The WH cook's are very fortunate people. They have all the resources needed to provide a delicious meal right at their finger-tips".

Look at him go!!! Too bad my kitchen does not work like that. I usually spend 15 minutes trying find my utensils. "Hey, Pete, have you seen my small skillet?"
Yes, I finally updated. Thanks for the music suggestions.
Abe
PS I love you, babe (aka Lisa)! I can't wait for our Starbuck's/ egg nog latte date tomorrow.
